Now this image confuses me even more. So it does serve some purpose.. What?

The reason im so interested in this is cause im in my final year engineering and ive selected a solar energy related project. The idea is to create a parabolic reflective dish, that will direct all the energy and heat to a boiler, the boiler will generate steam and that steam will run a turbine.. thus energy :)
lets just hope it works as well as it does in theory.
You have achieved somewhat similar to what I want to achieve, that is the reason for all my questions :)
